Aisha Dabo

A journalist and activist, Ms. Dabo is Co-Founder and Coordinator of AfricTivistes, a pan-African organization that unites change agents and makers to advance democratic values, human rights and good governance on the continent through the use of digital tools and technologies. Its membership boasts 400 individuals from 40 African countries and Haiti. Ms. Dabo spearheads the implementation of various projects, primarily focusing on civic tech initiatives that are designed to empower women and youth, enhance citizen engagement, foster leadership, promote democratic governance, and combat fake news and harmful online messages. She possesses fluency in French, English, Wolof and Lingala.
