Axel Gordh Humlesjö (b. 1986) is an Emmy® award-winning investigative reporter at the Swedish public broadcaster - SVT. He specializes in money laundering, corruption and cross border-reporting together with OCCRP, ICIJ, Forbidden Stories and other international networks of journalists. His new bestselling book ”The Honeytrap” (2024) expose the infiltration of Russian security service into Scandinavian Banks and he is a 2024 IRE finalist for the documentary ”Putin's Spies in Sweden”. In 2019 his team won an Emmy® for the documentary “Deceptive Diplomacy - Cover-up by the UN” about the murders of two United Nations experts in DR Congo. The next project exposed massive money laundering in the Baltic states from Russia through Swedbank, Scandinavia's largest bank. The documentary Dirty Banking was nominated for an international Emmy® in the current affairs category. His latest story revealed bribes and corruption in Securitas, one of the world's largest security companies. When he released his book about Swedbank, four different teams of lawyers representing persons that was exposed in the story, tried to stop the book from being printed with legal and reputational threats towards him and his publisher. Since then, Axel Gordh Humlesjö has been engaged in the fight against the use of lawfare to stop investigating journalism and the freedom of the press.
