Catherine Porter

Catherine Porter is an international correspondent for the New York Times, based in Paris. Originally from Toronto, she has worked extensively in Canada, Haiti, Senegal and France. She led the New York Times team that produced "The Ransom" -- a 4-part investigation into a 200-year-old crime committed to the young country of Haiti. She is the author of "A Girl Named Lovely" (Simon & Schuster, 2019).
