CEO and co-founder of Cuestión Pública, an investigative media outlet. Claudia is a Colombian investigative-data journalist and media entrepreneur. She was awarded five international journalism prizes (King of Spain International Journalism Awards, Sigma Awards, WAN-IFRA World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers, Inter American Press Association, Trace Investigative Reporting) for performing investigative data-driven investigations and managing investigative journalism projects. Claudia is obsessed with new challenges in investigative journalism and digital media entrepreneurship. She was ProPublica-ICFJ (International Center for Journalist) fellow during Donald Trump U.S. Elections 2016 and Deutsche Welle Akademie 2019 Fellow. Furthermore, Claudia won the Professional Fellows Alumni Impact Award from the State Department in 2019 and was a Pulitzer Center grantee. Additionally, she was IRE NICAR speaker at the 2020 Investigative Reporters & Editors conference. Claudia was one of the architects of one of the most comprehensive databases of the Colombian armed conflict at the National Center of Historical Memory. She has extensive experience performing data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and visualization for the media industry and business. Claudia has been a data-driven journalism lecturer with Master's degrees and postgraduate classes at universities in Colombia and Equator since 2017. She has experience in commercial and financial operation analysis for multinational companies in France, the United States, and Mexico. She owns a Master's degree in Economic and Social Development Studies at the Sorbonne University in Paris, France.
