David Schraven

David heard the most important sentence of his life from his mother: “We didn’t set the world’s boundaries. Why should we hold them?” He thinks of this sentence when he mixes comics with journalism, when he brings reportage to the stage, or when he starts investigations with citizens. What forces us to understand journalism only as writing lines, as filling space on television? Nothing. We can overcome boundaries and achieve anything if we only have the courage to do so. David is the founder of CORRECTIV and heads the investigative center as publisher.
