Dimitri Bettoni

Dimitri is a researcher at Dublin City University’s School of Communications and project coordinator at Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso Transeuropa (OBCT). He holds a PhD in  journalism, security and surveillance, a master degree in Journalism from the University of Verona (Italy) and bachelor degree in Linguistics from the Statale University of Milan (Italy). He worked as a correspondent in Turkey and neighbor countries for the Italian think tank OBCT, the Italian daily Il Manifesto and for the encyclopaedia institute Treccani’s online magazine Atlante. He is a founding member of the Foreign Media Association in Turkey.
