I'm a freelance reporter who has conducted investigations in Africa (and beyond) for a decade. I won (and lost) prizes for my work, often working in collaboration with other journalists (including Peabody, Webby, European Press Prize, Sigma and Frontline Club awards). I like to mix investigative approaches, from visual open-sources and very large datasets to field reporting in conflict zones. My last investigation revealed over 700 million euros of dirty money in French real estate. I also run the www.dictatoralert.org project that tracks the aircrafts of authoritarian governments around the world.
