Yevheniia Drozdova

Yevheniia Drozdova is a data journalist based in Kyiv, Ukraine. She has a Master’s degree in Media and Communications and began her career as a journalist at a local print newspaper. In 2017 she joined the independent Ukrainian media Texty.org.ua as a data journalist. Since 2023 she has served as head of the Data Journalism Section at Texty. Yevheniia specializes in creating interactive data visualization and maps, using R, Python and JavaScript libraries. She has a wide range journalism experience, as well as trainer experience. In 2023 was among the Jury Team of International Data Journalism Competition Sigma Awards 2023.
