Iris Yang

Iris Yang is an independent Chinese journalist focusing on gender equality and environmental issues. She has received journalism awards such as the SOPA (The Society of Publishers in Asia) Award, and the Asian Human Rights Press Award. In 2018, the story about the "C9" chemical leak in Quangang, Fujian, China earned SOPA Award for Excellence in Environmental Reporting and the Global Chinese Sustainable Reporting Award.
