Joseph Poliszuk
Joseph Poliszuk is co-founder and co-editor of Armando.info, the only outlet dedicated exclusively to investigative journalism in Venezuela. From there and other media, he has focused on money laundering and mineral trafficking, as well as findings of landmines in Venezuelan territory, which earned him recognition from Amnesty International.
Four-time finalist at the Latin American Award for Investigative Journalism, he is a member of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), with which he coordinated the Venezuelan Panama Papers team. He received the Knight International Journalism Award in 2018, which highlights the work of professionals whose resilience impacts societies in special situations. He did the JSK Fellowship at Stanford University in 2019-2020 and then joined for two years to the Pulitzer Center's Rainforest Investigation Network.
