autoren(werk) GmbH & Co.KG
managing editor
Marcus Lindemann is the managing author of autoren(werk) and has been producing magazine pieces and documentaries for ARD and ZDF with his own company since 2000, mainly on consumer topics, often with hidden cameras. After the series "WISO ermittelt" and "oma trick", autoren(werk) has currently developed and produced "WISO Crime". Lindemann has been teaching research with a focus on online research at universities and in journalistic training and further education since 1998. There and in in-house training courses for publishers and broadcasters, thousands of journalists have already learned how to use Google better and more efficiently in their everyday lives. He also trains journalists in Africa and Asia in investigative research - preferably according to the concept of "Story based Inquiry" (Hunter/Sengers). He has been a speaker at the Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC) several times (Kiev, Rio, Johannesburg, Hamburg). Since 2012, he has also been training police officers and fraud investigators in insurance companies and occasionally assisting them in investigations. He helps production companies with background research on their protagonists and candidates. Before becoming self-employed, he was employed as an editor and reporter at ZDF, and before that at SWF. Prior to that, he held numerous journalistic positions (agency, radio, regional newspapers). Lindemann is a political economist (M.A., University of Essex).
