Michael Verdicchio

Michael Verdicchio is a Swedish-Italian investigative journalist who has worked with radio, tv and newspapers – currently at Gothenburg-Post. He is known for infiltrating violent extremist groups, for exposing abuse and youth suicides within religious schools and the investigative podcasts “Sisters” and “Her Name Was” – about murdered women and prostitution among young teenage girls. He has been awarded Guldspaden, the Swedish award for investigative journalism, four times.
