Moana Maniapoto

Moana Maniapoto (Te Arawa/Ngāti Tūwharetoa) is a musician, documentary maker, writer and journalist. Since 2019, she has hosted and co-produced Te Ao with Moana on Māori Television/Whakaata Māori, winning Voyager Best Current Affairs 2021 & 2022. Her documentaries have explored the clash between the Western I.P system and Traditional Indigenous beliefs; treaty settlement negotiations between tribes and the Crown; and constitutional transformation.
