Nicolas Diaz

For more than 15 years, Diaz worked for FIDH.org NGO, which was founded in 1922. FIDH fights for Human Rights, Justice Freedom and democracy. During that period of time, Diaz had been training human rights defenders and journalists from several countries (Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Mali, The Gambia, Turkey) so that they could improve the security of their communications. Diaz's background includes linguistics and ICT work. Globally, he is keen on IT security and technological sovereignty and promotes open source and free software. He is currently the Head of Digital Security and Operations for Reporters Without Borders (RSF).
