Lulu Ning

Hui (Lulu) Ning is the Editor-in-Chief at Initium Media, an independent and in-depth reporting Chinese media based in Singapore. She leads the Initium Media’s global editorial team and provides oversight to both the membership and product teams. Lulu is a multiple award-winning journalist and editor. Her main area of interest is exploring China’s global links. Many of her projects involve collaborative cross-border investigations, often published in multiple languages. Her reporting has taken her to diverse locations in all continents, from Madagascar, Congo to the Amazon Rainforest, from the United States, Europe to the high seas. Previously, Lulu worked at Caixin Media and Oxfam Hong Kong.
