Ola Christoffersson
Ola Christoffersson is a video/film-editor and DOP (director of photography) who has a 30 year long background in broadcast journalism. He started out in news at TV4, Sweden's largest commercial network, where he worked as reporter as well as video editor. Since 2001 he has been freelancing as reporter/field producer/editor/DOP and video editor, always with storytelling and journalism as a strong foundation. Since 2007 he has been shooting and editing a whole range of documentaries for the leading Swedish investigative show - Mission investigate. Stories include: Telia in Uzbekistan, Dirty banking (Swedbank), The last eel, who killed the prime minister, Abuse and the UN, Panama papers and more.
In 2016 he produced/co-shot and edited a documentary about Bo Kaspers orkester, one of Sweden's most well known pop bands.
Ola Christoffersson has been awarded Gyllene snittet (DOP of the year) and co-received several Kristallen (leading Swedish broadcast award). In 2019 he co-recieved an international Emmy award for the documentary Deceptive diplomacy, an investigation in the murders of two UN-employees in the Congo.
