Peniley Ramirez

Emmy and IRE-award-winning investigative journalist, Peniley Ramirez is the Executive Producer of Futuro Investigates and Special Projects at Futuro Media in New York. Before, she worked for seven years as an investigative correspondent for Univision. Her reporting has led to government investigations in Latin America and the U.S. She worked on global investigative projects, such as "Panama Papers," and “Pandora Papers,” with the ICIJ. She writes a weekly column for the leading Mexican newspapers Reforma, Mural, and El Norte. She is the book's author and the host of a podcast about the dirty money in the war on drugs. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Business and Economics Journalism at Columbia University in New York.
