Mark Schapiro

Mark Schapiro is an award-winning investigative journalist specializing in the environment. His most recent book, SEEDS OF RESISTANCE: The Fight for Food Diversity on our Climate-Ravaged Planet, investigates the battle underway with agri-business companies to control the world’s climate-resilient seeds. His previous book, The End of Stationarity: Searching for the New Normal in the Age of Carbon Shock, reveals the trap doors of the economic system that hides the costs and consequences of climate change.    His column, STEAL THIS (Climate) STORY, appears in Capital & Main.
